Super, thanks this is great. I love the idea of using for staff development too. It will be great for my students in Hays to see a Kansas Teacher using this tool. Thanks so much for sharing.

I decided to do a voice thread over a board game that I made for my reading and language arts internship. This game is a synonym game and it helps students learn how to put words together that have similar meanings. It took me quite some time to paint all the wood pieces and Velcro them but the great thing is that I can use this board over for any grade level. All I have to do is change out the wood pieces with different words to fit any grade. The unit that I was focusing on when I created this was reading and language arts so this can truly be used at any grade levels as long as the words are change to fit the age level.

“Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” is the book that I decided to do a voice thread on. I think this book is really inspirational for all ages and the illustrations really pull you into the book. I really like Dr. Seuss therefore this book is one of my favorites so I thought I would share it with you guys.

Wow I did not realize how easy creating voicethreads could be. I chose to do my voicethread over my Social Studies Unit that I created over Famous People in Kansas History. I created a identifying game where the students had to identify some pictures of famous people in Kansas History by their photgraphs and the information about that person that I gave them in my voicethread

This is my favorite books voicethread. I chose the Hank the Cowdog Series becuase I love the humor that is incorporated in all of these books. Over the courses that I have taken at Fort Hays anytime the question comes up about what is your favorite book I can only think of all of these stories. Hope you can access the URL

Part 2 voicethread
I really found this part intimidating to create. I was really glad when I finished and I hope you enjoy the book I choose for this project.
