I liked LetterPop a lot! I found it to be pretty easy to use, navigate, and create. It took me a few minutes to figure out that I had to sign up first, but since we have done so much of that lately, I figured it out. I did like all the choices for templates it had to offer - it even gave me ideas of using it for my own personal use. I chose a template that allowed me to use pictures as well as provided a nice amount of room for text. My newsletter is to inform parents what I will be teaching their child in the next unit. It contains what I will be teaching them and the reasons for it. My hope for this newsletter, is to involve the parents. I would like them to know what we are doing so that they can help encourage and teach them outside of the class as well. Also, they can ask questions specifically since they are aware of the unit now. I included the grade level (3rd) in the newsletter, but not the Standards. I didn't think the parents cared about that - or do they? I can see myself using this site to create newsletters in the future. I will definitely add this site to my Del.icio.us though!

Here is my Newsletter! I used my newsletter as a beginning of the year "Get to Know You". I included the standards used in the newsletter. I really enjoyed LetterPop. It was so easy to use, and had lots of different template options to use. I showed my sister this website and she loved it. She is in charge of a yearbook class in a Middle School. She is so excited to use this new program with her class! My mom, a first grade teacher, also loved watching me create my newsletter. I'm teaching her how to use it that way she can make her own newsletters. Once again, another great tool to use...I definitely will use this website again-and it's a great one to add to my del.ici.ous website!

I found letter pop fairly simple to use and it took a little while to select a template that I wanted to use. After seeing what the children that I babysit eat everyday for lunch, I decieded that I wanted to type a newsletter about eating healthy. I made sure that my job wasn't to preach at parents but inform what we would be doing in class and some simple ideas for snacks at home. I used the paste from word option for my text and it worked great. The icing on the cake? It's free!

I really enjoyed this project. I thought it was fun and easy to use. This tool will come in handy in making classroom newsletters to send home for parents. I will be using letterpop to make my family newsletter so all family and friends will know what is happening throughout the year. My newletter was a end of the year field trip information for parents.

I really liked letterpop. I thought this was a great tool for creating newsletters. It was really simple to use and I found that publishing it and getting the URL to access it was a whole lot easier than a lot of the other sites we have been using. Trying to actually get the URL so you can access it has been my biggest battle this entire class. I think I spend as much time trying to post my assignments as I do actually creating them. If you have suggestions on how to make that easier for me let me know. Here is the link to my letterpop.

I thought this letterpop was pretty handy! I also think that it was fun as far as an assignment is concerned. I think this will be something that I will use once I have my own classroom. Having the templates made it alot easier and more attractive. I think that next time I use this letter pop for my own classroom, I will choose to use more pictures so that it is a little more attractive but with this being a beginning of the school year newsletter, I had alot of information to get down first. Since this was a beginning of the school year letter, there wasn't a certain standard that would apply to this.

Letterpop is outstanding. I will certainly keep using this to help me with newsletters and any other ideas I have concerning my class. I really like all the different templates they have. They are simply fantastic! I will talk to our school district and see if perhaps, they could use this website as a whole group just to make the district more exciting and technologically advanced. I used it as a letter to the parents so a standard really isn't applicable, but I really liked this website.
